We are called to be Ministers of Reconciliation and Ambassadors of HOPE. We are called to love, respect and honor one another with one heart, one passion, united in one love, walking together with one harmonious purpose (Romans 12:10, Philippians 2:2). Unity celebrates diversity and values another's perspectives. Thoughts, opinions, and perspectives expressed by our sent ones don't necessarily always reflect our thoughts, opinions, and perspectives as an organization. BUT we do our best to love as He loves, demonstrating that we are His true followers (John 13:34-35).

Jay & Laura Sims - Quebec
Jay and Laura Sims serve in the Quebec House ofPrayer (QHOP). QHOP is open to the public 43 hours a week. There is also a motel on the property. At QHOP,they lead intercession sets, where they intercede for different areas of Quebec, Canada, Israel, the nations, government, families, students, churches, local ministries, justice, and other houses of prayer. They also lead Worship with the Word sets, where they mine into the Word of God 1-2 verses at a time, getting deeper revelation from God. Jay and Laura are involved in much of the day to day operations and behind-the-scenes aspects of this ministry and the motel. Some of their duties include shopping for and taking care of maintenance needs at Qhop and the motel. They do most of the scheduling, some admin work, and take care of media needs during the prayer sets. They are heavily involved in a local church, which is small, since Quebec holds the most unreached people in North America. There is a university right down the road that is one of the biggest party schools in Canada. Jay and Laura prayer walk that campus, and occasionally share testimoniesof the faithfulness of God. We have known and loved the Sims family for years, and are so blessed to have them in our Bursting Barns family!

Iris is a daughter of the King who is known for radiating the love and joy of the Lord. She carries a mother’s heart and is called to be a beacon of hope in some of the darkest corners of the earth. At a young age, Iris developed a passion for serving in the nations, but in 2015 she realized that she had gotten comfortable with where she was and had forgotten about some key elements of who God had called her to be. The Lord used a local non-profit to remind her of the desire she had to serve the persecuted church and showed her that He was calling her to the Middle East. In 2016, Iris got the opportunity to travel to Israel and began to develop a deep passion for the region. She is passionate about seeing reconciliation between Isaac and Ishmael as well as raising up a generation of young warriors who are overflowing with the love and joy of the Lord. We met Iris through an announcement Brooke made on one of the Iris Ministries alumni pages, and it didn't take long to realize we are kindred spirits! What an honor to welcome her to our Bursting Barns family!

Michael is a man after God’s own heart and has been given a Father's heart for Arabs, Israel and God’s chosen people. His heart is to see salvation, as well as reconciliation leading to covenant between Jew and Arab alike, therefore a restored relationship. It was his first trip to Jerusalem that God began to grow his heart for both Jews and Arabs. He served two years in Jordan, bringing the truth of the Gospel to the locals throughout the cities of Amman and Irbid, spent time in the Jordan house of prayer and began to learn the language. He recently completed training with the ministry called FAI (Frontier Alliance International) in the Golan Heights. Although his heart is still to serve in the M.E. the Lord has called him to return to the United States for a season. He is now serving in his home city, Nashville, reaching out to refugees and continuing to learn how to be a disciple, who makes disciples, who make disciples.

Jonathan and Suey are a couple with a big heart for the unreached nations of the earth. They started pursuing missions independently of each other before meeting on the field and getting married, only to continue their work together afterward. They are currently residing in the Middle East (location withheld for security reasons), where they work alongside their team and the local church in relational evangelism among Muslims, discipling new believers, as well as continuing in the place of prayer together. They are working hard to learn the Arabic language and giving themselves to the people in front of them now, but their sights are set on the Horn of Africa, where they will be transitioning to soon (tentatively in 2020) to continue working among Muslim people groups. Donna Nenney
For many years Donna believed she would be a missionary in Africa, but while in Africa at a mission school, the Lord made it very clear that He would put a deep love in her heart for America. She has served for the past three years in an urban ministry, We Will Go, in downtown Jackson, Mississippi, where God taught her many lessons of loving the “one” that the lord has put in front of her. God has given her a heart to see Awakening and Revival in America, that an encounter of the Love of Jesus will change hearts and set a fire not only in the church but also out on the streets. The vision she has been given is that God will use her as a bridge between the Church and the broken, to bring unity among His precious children, to BE the love of Jesus to everyone she comes in contact with, to go out and comfort others with the same comfort with which He has comforted her. The verse and prayer she holds onto is this: “So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in LOVE, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:17-20) Donna’s heart is for the world to know and encounter this Love that will change everything.
